Meta-Physical Theatre
Founded in 1987 by David Langlois, Meta-Physical Theatre devotes itself to creating, performing and touring physical theatre productions. From ’Emotional Baggage’ to ‘No Direction Home’ ’Earthlings’, ’Julius Rex’ and ’The Seven Lively Sins’, the Company has performed in schools and at Festivals across Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. The Company also teaches physical theatre workshops, both short and long term, in Schools, Colleges and Universities across Canada and abroad. From mask making to movement to mime technique to stage combat, clown and mask performance the Company offers an exciting array of informative, hands on sessions. Residency programs have been held at Medicine Hat College, Keyano College, Sheridan College, McMaster University and the University of Saskatchewan.
